Comparison is a plague that has sapped many juicy destinies. It eats ones life like cancer if not

checked on time. In the context of this exposition, comparison refers to the act of comparing yourself,

 talents,abilities, outlook, achievements, etc. With another person. Today by the help of the Spirit of

God, we shall be exploring the CONSEQUENCES OF COMPARISON.

1.Comparison steals one's confidence(1Sam.17:4-11). A non-confident man is not living but merely

existing and is incapacitated to launch out and fulfill destiny. Nothing snatches personal confidence

like comparison. Once confidence is stolen,creativity is paralyzed and failure is ultimately enthroned.

2.Comparison sponsors self-pity and rejection.(Num.13:33). This happens because comparison

creates a sense of inadequacy and incompleteness which graduates to self-pity and finally results into

rejection. The ten spies rejected themselves when they compared themselves with the sons of

ANAK. 

3.Comparison fertilizes envy, strife and bitterness.(1Sam.18:6-9). Saul started to hate David the

moment the Israelite women compared the both of them.

4.Comparison breeds imitation. Understand that imitation is the greatest limitation. It hinders the

release of your on potentials because you are just trying to be like someone else.

I challenge you today to desist from act of comparison. The truth is there is ''HIDDEN GOLD'' inside

everyone of us; So Channel your energy towards uncovering the GOLD in you.Remember you can
